THE DESIGNER
I am Sandra, designer and founder of Saheima Joyas, a brand that emerges from my roots and my love for weaving. I was born in Medellín and grew up in Chocó Colombia, where my grandmother inspired me with her stories to embrace weaving as a form of expression.
I studied jewelry design and crafting in Cali, and while teaching, I dedicatedly developed my artistic skills. In 2012, I created Saheima Joyas, a brand that reflects my creativity, culture, and passion in each handmade piece.
At Saheima, we fuse diverse handcrafted textiles and contemporary jewelry, creating exclusive, versatile, and high-quality handcrafted luxury pieces that not only adorn the authentic woman who inspires me, but also tell stories with a sustainable approach and respect for the environment.
I am inspired by the beauty of nature, geometry, organic, and abstract shapes; giving life to jewelry that is not just accessories, but jewelry that represents women, their essence, their style, and inner power.

Our Essence
Saheima Joyas is a Colombian brand of conscious luxury artisanal jewelry, founded by Sandra, a designer, artist, and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in the art of jewelry.
From our roots in Medellín and Chocó, we merge tradition, culture, and passion to bring to life handmade jewelry that exalts the authenticity of the contemporary woman. Each piece reflects a story, a connection with nature, and a cultural heritage woven through generations.
For over 8 years, we have served our clients with love and dedication from our physical store in the traditional Granada neighborhood of Cali, Colombia. Each creation is born in our artisan workshop, handcrafted with traditional goldsmithing techniques, using recycled bronze with 24k gold plating, sterling silver, crystals, water pearls, and natural gemstones, as well as an anti-allergic protective lacquer that ensures durability and quality.

Career and international recognition
For more than 10 years, Sandra has represented Colombian art in numerous national and international events and fairs, strengthening her path as an entrepreneur and artist.
Saheima jewelry has been present in multi-brand stores in Colombia and Miami (United States), bringing our essence to the hands of women around the world.
In 2023, we were part of the Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF), where we received four participation awards for our jewelry proposal as a sustainable artistic and cultural expression. We have also participated in design fairs in Miami, alongside renowned fashion designers such as Ignazio Spinoza and Rei Giraldo, expanding our international reach with pride and consistency.
One of our most significant collaborations took place on the stage of Cali Distrito Moda, alongside designer Samara Wells, at the presentation of her Alma de Natur collection, developed in partnership with the footwear brand Púrpura. The proposal stood out for its use of natural fibers hand-dyed with artisanal dyes extracted from fruits and vegetables, exalting the natural, the artisanal, and the ancestral as the aesthetic and conceptual essence of the runway.
In this staging, Saheima Joyas accompanied each outfit with our golden feather collection, providing a touch of shine, strength and elegance that enhanced the energy of each design, fusing art, fashion and nature in a deep and meaningful visual synergy.
Global projection
Today, with our feet firmly planted on our roots and our eyes set on the world, we are excited to announce that we will soon have our first point of sale in the United States. In the meantime, we continue to make international shipments to Europe, Canada, the United States, and Latin America, bringing our creations to women who value authenticity and consciousness.
One of our goals is to continue expanding through alliances with Concept Stores and multi-brand fashion stores around the world, building networks with like-minded brands and spaces that share our vision of artisanal luxury with purpose.
