Saheima is the dream and passion of its founder and creative director Sandra H. Higuita M., who was born in Medellín, Colombia and grew up in Chocó. That, throughout her childhood, influenced by the stories her grandmother told her when they sat down to knit, awakens her love for knitting and the magical stories behind it.

Jeweler and craftswoman with more than 15 years of experience in the elaboration and teaching in the art of costume jewelry, implementing various weaving techniques and now as a fundamental basis for the design and production of her jewelry, turning each piece not only into decorative art but also in an integral connection between the user and nature.
Sandra seeks to preserve the identity of the ancient indigenous cultures. For this reason, it fuses the traditional techniques of ancestral weaving, creating jewelry that transmit an important cultural manifestation to our time.
Sandra created Saheima as a Colombian brand of timeless jewelry that exalts the innate qualities of women and reflects the idiosyncrasy of indigenous fabrics that have been transmitted from generation to generation.
Saheima Joyas represents the fusion of the hands of women artisans and experienced goldsmiths who very delicately capture each of their designs as works of art. It expresses tradition, culture and passion through a handmade Colombian product.
She creates exclusive and sophisticated pieces of jewelry that she fuses very delicately with SWAROVSKI® Crystals, Natural and organic Gems such as Water Pearls and finishes in 24k gold plated bronze and 960 sterling silver.
